Is the report really free?
Yes. No account, no bill upload, and no credit card. Automated monthly reports and alerts are not available in this version, and we will not charge you for them or sign you up for anything.
Who can use it?
Homes with Enphase solar and electric service from SCE or LADWP. Other setups are not supported yet.
Will you ask for my utility or solar-app password?
No, never. The report does not connect to Enphase or your electric company. You type in only the figures you choose to share.
Is the report exact?
No. It uses only the figures you enter, and your electric company’s bill remains the final word. It does not diagnose equipment or calculate your final bill.
What do I need to make a report?
The end date and amount of your latest electric bill. The amount of a previous bill and details from your Enphase app are optional, and make the report more useful.
Do you keep the figures I enter?
The report tool builds your report in your browser, and the figures you enter are not sent to us. See Your data for details and for what the site does collect.
Which electric companies and solar equipment work?
Enphase solar with SCE or LADWP today. SDG&E, Tesla, and other setups are not supported yet.
How current is the report?
As current as the figures you enter. It shows the dates you provide, and if something is missing it says the comparison is incomplete rather than guessing.
Will a quiet system always mean something is broken?
No. A system can stop sending updates because of an internet, gateway or provider issue even when it is still producing. An update date is a reason to check, not a diagnosis of equipment failure.
Does it replace my true-up?
No. Your electric company settles your bill. Not every home has an annual true-up: LADWP customers, for example, have a credit balance instead, and rules differ by plan. This report does not calculate your settlement.
Does it lower my bill or improve my solar?
No. It helps you understand what the numbers say so you can act sooner. It does not change how your system works, and we do not promise savings.
What happens to my information?
If you write to us through the contact form, we use your message to reply. The report tool does not send us your figures. See Your data and the privacy notice. You can ask us to delete anything we hold about you.
